Seit der Amtsenthebung des peruanischen Präsidenten Pedro Castillo durch den Kongress am 7. Dezember haben sich die Arbeiter und Bauern in immer größerer Zahl mobilisiert. In einigen Regionen haben diese Mobilisierungen aufständische Ausmaße angenommen. Die Massen sehen deutlich, dass es sich um einen Putsch handelt, hinter dem die kapitalistische Oligarchie und der US-Imperialismus stehen. Depuis le 7 décembre et la destitution par le congrès du président péruvien, Pedro Castillo, les travailleurs et les paysans se mobilisent en nombre toujours plus grand. Dans certaines régions du pays, cela a pris des proportions insurrectionnelles. Les masses ont clairement perçu qu’il s’agissait d’un coup d’Etat, derrière lequel se trouvait la main de l’oligarchie capitaliste et de l’impérialisme américain. Il 28 ottobre, il presidente tedesco e membro del Partito Socialdemocratico (SPD) Frank-Walter Steinmeier si è rivolto a una platea di ospiti scelti nel Palazzo Bellevue, la sua residenza ufficiale.
